Auction Header Logos can be both interesting and distracting -- you'll have to make that call for yourself. But if you want to add an image or logo to the header of your auctions, here's the process to follow. This must be done on any template you use or will be using.
| Open the Listing Template Studio for the template to be modified.
This menu allows you to select from a list of windows - you want to select the Listing Templates window, which will open the Listing Templates Studio.
|
| Determine which text box to place the new html code in.

I like to use the Tax Message text box, but that is purely my choice. Nearly any one of the 8 text boxes on the Text1 or Text2 tabs will do. Do not use the No Reserve Message box on Text1, as this displays only when there is no reserve.
|
| Double-click the text box to open the expanded edit window.

The highlighted code is what you will add to your template, replacing the image shown with one of your own.
|
Once the html code has been added to your Listing Template, exit the Listing Template Studio via the exit door button. This will save your changes and return you to the previous window.
I would recommend posting a single listing using this modified template, and then viewing the listing to see how your image/logo looks. If you need to make adjustments, simply edit the template, make the changes, then revise the listing you just posted and check it again.
You will need to be sure your image or logo is on your image host or you will only get the "broken link" indicator on your auction page.

And it's really just that easy. Take some time and see what works best for you.
